A global network of locally connected men

WNOW (When No One’s Watching) began with two friends looking out for one another. It’s now turned into a global movement, where every Wednesday over 3000 men from around the world show up for each other.

Watch the WNOW origin story.

Tadhg Kennelly and Dave Eccles talk to Siobhan Marin from ABC’s Compass programme about The Friendship Recession and how WNOW came to be.

Tadhg talks about his journey.

What led him to start WNOW and the Sunrise Club with his best friend, what it means to him and the goal of reaching 1 million men.

Sunrise Club, so much more than just a
meet up.

Every Wednesday at 6am, rain or shine, men across the globe come together. Not just for a little exercise, but for something deeper, a connection, an understanding, and the shared journey of becoming better men.

In a world where 60 men take their lives every hour, we need to look out for each other. We recognise that silence can be a our worst enemy and behind every smile, there might be a silent struggle.

Where we can drop our body armour and not be judged

Sunrise Clubs are the soul of WNOW, they exist to break the barriers of isolation, offering a space where men can gather, be vulnerable, authentic, and supported. They offer a safe space where everyone is equal.

and where we know someone has our back.

There are currently 52 Sunrise Clubs where our members gather together each week. They’re free attend and we even shout our new members their first coffee.

The exercises are designed for all fitness levels and members are encouraged to take everything at their own pace. So sign up today and come along to our next sunrise club.

Chapter of the month

Canberra - ACT

Big shout out to Tom and the boys in Canberra. The Canberra chapter continues to grow from strength to strength and, with autumn just around the corner, it’s starting to get a little chilly for outdoor burpees.

If you’re in Canberra and want to hit Tom or the lads up, email us at info@wnow.org

Reigning champions Bondi have everything to play for but the boys from Maroubra believe it’s their time to shine.

The event is locked in for Sunday 29th March so come an join us for a fun family day.

Victoria and NSW retreats

Back by popular demand is the WNOW Retreat (that’s not a Retreat). This year there will be one running in Victoria between the 27th-29th March and in NSW between 29th-31st May.

Each retreat has a limited number of attendees and comes with its own set of unique experiences. For more info about the retreats contact a chapter lead or email info@wnow.org

WNOWer of the year

Each year our members vote for a WNOWer of the Year, and this year we were inundated with nominations from across all our chapters.

We recognise a WNOWer of the Year for each chapter, along with one overall recipient. It’s awarded to someone who truly embodies the values of WNOW, and this year it went to Colin Fassnidge.

In his spare time we hear he’s a dab hand in the kitchen, but what we know is that outside of that he’s an incredible human who consistently gives his time to others through selfless acts of kindness and genuine mateship.
