The first WNOW not so corporate golf day.

On Friday 26 June, WNOW is taking over Randwick Golf Course for our very first Golf Day.

Now before you say ‘I’m not a golfer’ because your golfing experience is limited to mini golf, Frisbee golf or VW Golf, hear us out.

This is not one of those golf days where everyone turns up looking like they're about to qualify for The Masters. In classic WNOW fashion, it's about connection, not perfection.

We'll be playing Ambrose format in teams of four, which means everyone hits a shot and the team plays from the best one. So if your contribution for the day is one decent shot on the 7th hole, congratulations, you've done your job.

And for anyone worried they're not good enough, have you seen TK and Dave play golf?

We'll be mixing teams to keep things fair and making sure every group has at least one golfer who knows roughly what they're doing. Unless, of course, you get paired with TK and Dave.

Expect lunch, drinks, plenty of laughs, some terrible golf, some surprisingly good golf, and at least one person confidently explaining why their ball ended up in the sea.

Never played before? No problem.

Don't own clubs? Club hire is available.

Don't know the rules? Neither do half the people already registered.

This is a day for members, mates, golfers, non-golfers and anyone who feels like spending a few hours outdoors with a good bunch of people.
